Our Impact

By partnering with local lodges we identify Children of our Masonic Family in most need. The former Children's Masonic Home could only assist a few dozen children. With IMCAP we will be able to Impact hundreds of lives every month.

The youth of today are the hope for our tomorrow. Our society is driven by the power and energy of our youth. This emphasis on the care of our children is one of our most treasured values as humans, and Freemasons. IMCAP will impact the lives of numerous children and create an unprecedented level of involvement and interaction between our Lodges and local communities.

This program will bring hope to children who are part of our Masonic family and have basic developmental needs. We have established innovative and creative programs tailored to meet the needs of our children while also providing full assistance to the children who once lived in our Children’s Homes.

Legacy

What happened to our kids living at the Children’s Home?

This is a question that is often asked. Illinois Freemasonry is  pleased to share that our children are thriving.

A program called the Legacy Program was created just for the young people once residing in the Children's Homes.  The goal of the Legacy Program is to support our Children to ensure they have the opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential.

Our Legacy Program offers significant financial resources and case management services for our young people and their parents or guardians.

IMCAP continues to honor the rich history of the Illinois Masonic Children’s Home outside of the walls of the Children’s Homes.  We are committed to not only to ensure that their basic needs are met but they live a life filled with discoveries.

Over the past year, our young people have attended summer camps, gone on mission trips, taken swimming lessons, been recruited to play football in college, dressed up for proms, and more.  These children  inspire us by their resiliency but most of all, their hope!

Today we have 28 kids already enrolled in our Legacy Program. However, the the best is yet to come: with the new program IMCAP we can now partner with local Masonic Lodges identifying Children of our Masonic Family in most need. The former Children's Masonic Home could only assist a few dozen children; with IMCAP we are now able to Impact hundreds of lives every month!
