IMCAP Partnering with Lodges to Serve Communities
When COVID-19 hit Illinois, IMCAP saw an opportunity to expand the Youth Organization Connection to meet the rising need of food pantry assistance in many of our Lodges’ communities. So far, IMCAP has been able to provide Youth Organization Connection grants to 20 food pantries on behalf of 15 Lodges for a total of $30,300. While the Youth Organization Connection is not typically used for food pantries, the increased need due to unprecedented times warranted this temporary expansion of funds.
The Illinois Masonic Children’s Assistance Program (IMCAP) is proud to partner with Illinois Lodges through the Youth Organization Connection. The Youth Organization Connection is designed to help the Lodges support youth organizations in their communities. Typically, these organizations include Boy Scouts, playground equipment, youth baseball team, and a variety of other youth-oriented organizations.
If you would like to learn more about the Youth Organization Connection and how IMCAP can partner with your Lodge to make a difference in your community, please contact Director Gale Kilbury at IMCAP@ilmason.org.
